BRIN-WAITRO SDG2 Zero Hunger Fellowship – Call for applicant
WAITRO member National Research and Innovation Agency – Indonesia, BRIN, has launched its human resources capacity development program, promoting science and technology talent global mobility. Part of this program is the WAITRO-BRIN fellowship, this Indonesian-global academic partnership focused on SDG2 Zero Hunger. With a generous budget allocated to each fellowship, BRIN encourages foreign postdocs and researchers who want to explore new academic and research circles to spend time in Indonesia to apply, from as little as a few months to as much as a year, developing tangible research progress and building networks through the exchange experience.
Interested postdocs and researchers from WAITRO member institutions should submit a short proposal before January 31, 2024 via email:
cc: priindustri.brin@gmail.com, and thni001@brin.go.id (Ms Tracy)
The BRIN fellowship committee will consider each proposal, look for a match with BRIN researchers, and determine the appropriate funding level after the final selection and evaluation of the proposals.
An explanation of the funding schemes, open call leaflet, and a template for short proposals can be accessed here.
In December 2023, BRIN hosted a webinar on SDG2 and global partnerships to end hunger, and it is also taking a leading role in WAITRO’s SDG 2 Working Group. For more information and areas of interest, please watch the recording of the SDG2 webinar.
