Mr. Nik Sazali bin Nik Hussin is the Acting President and Group Chief Executive Officer of SIRIM Berhad, Malaysia’s leading organization for industrial research, technology, and quality. Appointed in August 2025, he brings over two decades of leadership experience across commercial banking, higher education, and management consultancy, combining strategic vision with a strong foundation in financial governance and sustainable development.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Nik Sazali is widely recognized for driving organizational transformation, developing innovation-led strategies, and fostering collaboration between industry, academia, and government.
Before assuming his current role, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of SIRIM Academy Sdn Bhd, where he spearheaded initiatives to strengthen industrial competitiveness through training and consultancy in quality management systems, sustainability, technology, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). His leadership elevated SIRIM Academy’s role as a regional hub for capacity building and knowledge transfer aligned with global standards.
