WAITRO as Consortium Partner

WAITRO not only supports the formation of consortia for international research projects among its members, it also actively participates in such collaborations. Between 2012 and 2015, while the WAITRO Secretariat was hosted by SIRIM Berhad in Malaysia, WAITRO took part as a project partner in an FP7 EU Project (BIOWASTE4SP), working alongside several member organizations and taking on key roles within the consortium. Since the establishment of WAITRO Operations e.V. in Germany as the organization’s legal entity, WAITRO is once again able to formally join consortia, thanks to its new legal structure.
