The 2026 United Nations Water Conference will be held from 2–4 December 2026 in the United Arab Emirates, co-hosted by the UAE and Senegal. This milestone event takes place at a pivotal moment—just five years before the deadline to achieve the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
With a strong focus on SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, the conference will catalyze political commitment, financial investment, and innovation to accelerate progress. It will bring together governments, international organizations, civil society, private sector actors, and scientific communities to forge partnerships and promote action toward a water-secure future for all.
