WAITRO enabled the International Conference “Global Collaboration for Innovation, Competitiveness, and Sustainability” in 2018. This event took place within the framework of the 24th WAITRO Global Congress: SIRIM-WAITRO International Conference (SWIC), in Penang, Malaysia.
The two days International Conference (SWIC) was organized by WAITRO and SIRIM on November 21, 2018. It aimed to enhancing the attendants’ skills and demonstrating potential for sustainable innovation at a global scale.
Scope
For two days, the participants had the opportunity to learn from key speakers and scientific presentations. The main topics were focused on:
- Gender Issues and Economic Empowerment
- Collaboration and Strategic Innovation/Industry 4.0
- Innovation and Technology Trends
- Ecosystem for Commercialization
