WAITRO welcomes UNA, Costa Rica
Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica (UNA) (engl.: National University of Costa Rica) has recently joined WAITRO as Full Member. This university was created in 1973 in the city of Heredia. Currently, the university offers more than 100 bachelor’s and master’s degrees. UNA counts with research centers in different fields, such as apiculture, tropical sickness, biodiversity conservation, among others.
The principles that drive UNA are transformative knowledge, humanism, inclusion, honesty, environmental responsibility and transparency.
