Spreading Global Solidarity
Since showing solidarity is now more important than ever, we started a call to join the initiative by the UN SDG Action Campaign on May 22nd, the Global Day of Solidarity. So, we quickly sent out a message to all our members, asking them to join us in a call to gather as many people of the Global Innovation Family as possible online to take a colorful group photo.
What has started as nice idea, turned out to be bigger than expected: 50 participants from 15 countries, 4 continents and various time zones – one global family! From Latin America, Africa and Europe to Asia, we spread solidarity around the globe for today’s Global Day of Solidarity. Among research, events and workshops, this is what the Global Innovation Family is about: Showing Solidarity, community and engagement. Thank you very much to everyone who was a part of the call and WAITRO’s act of solidarity! We are truly only #StrongerTogether!
