WAITRO welcomes HACRED, Somalia

HACRED joins WAITRO as a Full Member

HACRED has recently joined WAITRO as a Full Member. The Horn Africa Center for Research and Development is a research center founded by a group of Somali Intellectuals, Scholars and academics in both within Somalia and outside.


HACRED is a research institute advocating for Social and Economic empowerment, Civic Participation as well as Environmental protection for all people in Somalia to live in a sustainable peace and have people-centered development, where citizens are empowered to participate and have access to resources and held governments accountable, responsive and transparent to its citizens.

HACRED also builds the capacity of the local population members in Somalia increasing their level of citizen participation in governance through Advocacy, Capacity strengthening and Civic education in order to build a more informed civil populace and a democratic state bringing them back to normalcy, peace, and change of attitudes and outlooks.
