CIDT-UTP joins WAITRO as an Full Member
The Centro de Innovación y Desarrollo Tecnológico (CIDT) – Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira is dedicated to adding value to the service sector through Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO), creating an ecosystem conducive to knowledge and innovation management. This initiative aims to enhance innovation and research capacities in KPO, playing a pivotal role in the productive transformation of the region and development of strategic sectors.
Situated at the Technological University of Pereira, the CIDT-UTP operates within a knowledge management system. Its four key components – Innovation Projects in KPO, Innovation Management, Talent Bank, and Infrastructure for KPO Innovation Development – will spearhead new projects, technological solutions, prototypes, and innovations in three KPO domains. This initiative aims to ignite the inception of new businesses and bolster regional competitiveness.
The mission of the CIDT-UTP is to be a catalyst that harnesses and maximizes knowledge capacities and services to foster technological development, entrepreneurship, and innovation, contributing to the productive and social transformation of the region. Looking ahead, by the year 2025, the CIDT – UTP envisions being the primary enabler of innovation capacities in the Coffee Axis region with international reach.
