WAITRO Horizon Europe Capacity Building & Networking Event
Facilitating International Partnerships and Access to Horizon Europe Funding Programme
WAITRO’s mission is to foster innovation on a global scale and drive sustainable development by empowering member organizations and facilitating collaboration across borders and boundaries. WAITRO facilitates partnerships between member organizations and the access to public and private funds.
With this aim in view, the WAITRO Office Germany together with the Regional Focal Point for Europe, Leitat Technological Center, organize the WAITRO Horizon Europe Capacity Building & Networking Event on June 21st-22nd in Barcelona, Spain.
The event will gather keynote speeches and info sessions on international cooperation under the Horizon Europe programme as well as lessons learnt from the first-year calls. It will also be a great occasion to meet and network with European and non-European WAITRO members. Furthermore, brainstorming sessions will be organized to enable collaborations within the upcoming Work Programme 2023-24.
How to participate?
You can register by filling out the online registration form by May 25th. We already have pre-registered WAITRO members from Germany, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, South Africa, Nigeria, Jordan, Kenya, Cameroon, Botswana, Ghana, Egypt, and Zimbabwe.

The Horizon Europe Programme
Horizon Europe, the research and innovation funding programme 2021-27 is one of the main tools to implement Europe’s strategy for international cooperation: the global approach to R&I. The programme is open to researchers and innovators from around the globe that are encouraged to team up with European partners in preparing proposals.
