Federal Ministry of Science and Technology Abuja joins WAITRO as a Full Member
The Federal Ministry of Technology and Science Abuja Nigeria has recently joined WAITRO as a Full Member. It is one of the strategic Ministries in Nigeria focused on facilitating the development and deployment of Science, Technology and Innovation to strengthen the pace of Socio-economic development of the country.
The Federal Ministry of Science and Technology Abuja has developed 20 projects, including Energy Audit, Blue Economy, Green Economy, Gender and Energy, Low Carbon Economy, among others. Furthermore it is focused on 8 programs:
- Sustainability Science Dialogue
- Technology and Innovation Expo
- Talented Young Scientists of Nigeria
- Nigerian Cleantech Innovation Programme
- Renewable Energy Resource Centres in Remote Village
- Methanol Fuel Technology Implementation in Nigeria
- Presidential Standing Committee on Invention and Innovation
- National Waste to Wealth
