WAITRO Cooperation for Development Online Workshop

LEITAT Technology Center in Spain, WAITRO Regional Focal Point of Europe, will host an online workshop themed on research cooperation network through the WAITRO Global Innovation Family. This event is represents the supportive initiatives that WAITRO brand provides to the members.
Objectives
- To broaden the channels of cooperation between international innovation resources.
- To help WAITRO members find new partnerships and funding sources.
Agenda
The workshop contains four sessions:
- Introduction to the Concept of “Cooperation for Development“: to explain the origin and importance of the types of bidding, with emphasize on the content and objectives on wealth distribution, sustainable development and innovative, multi-sectoral cooperation, and why it is topic with growing interest among WAITRO members.
- International Funding Institutions and Funding Schemes: to explain the international funding schemes and their scope. We aim to help attendees understand what types of funding schemes they can access.
- Business development strategy: it will emphasize the tools to identify projects, such as prioritizing opportunities and customer loyalty, and will emphasize the importance of being on the ground and getting to know the client personally.
- Partnering and Tendering: representatives from different regions will share experience on bidding with different tenders; it will emphasise the importance of combining local and international funding expertise.
An Q&A session will be hold after the presentations.
