As part of the WAITRO Summit 2024 in Nanjing, P.R. China, from 13 through 15 November, delegates of full member organizations will meet on November 15 for the 27th General Assembly of WAITRO. The purpose is to discuss the future of the association, make important decisions, and work together on new collaboration forms to create lasting ties between members and partners.

WAITRO Executive Board Elections

During the 27th General Assembly, it will be decided who is going to be working on the WAITRO Executive Board for the term 2025/26, covering the following positions:

• President
• First Vice-President
• Second Vice-President
• Five Regional Representatives (Africa, MENA, Europe, Asia & the Pacific, Latin America & the Caribbean)

Elected by the General Assembly for a two-year term, the WAITRO Executive Board members serve WAITRO voluntarily to govern the association’s activities. The Board meets twice a year.
