WAITRO Summit 2020
In 2020, WAITRO marked its 50th anniversary with the WAITRO://50 Virtual Summit, a milestone event that brought together over 1,000 participants from around the world. Featuring high-level keynote speakers, dynamic sessions, and global networking opportunities, the summit showcased the power of science, technology, and innovation to drive sustainable development.
Despite being fully virtual due to COVID-19, the event delivered a rich, interactive experience thanks to the dedication of the WAITRO Secretariat, Board, speakers, and partners. The summit also featured the launch of key initiatives, the announcement of the Innovation Award winners, and the outcomes of the General Assembly.
