Today, WAITRO connects more than 190 member organizations across over 80 countries, bringing together leading research institutions, technology organizations, and innovation stakeholders worldwide. 

Spanning from Sub-Saharan Africa, the MENA region, Asia, the Americas and Europe, WAITRO members create a unique global ecosystem that fosters collaboration, drives innovation, and supports solutions to pressing economic, environmental and societal challenges.

At WAITRO, we distinguish between Full Members and Associate Members, reflecting the diversity of actors within our global innovation ecosystem. Full Members include universities, reserach institutes and laboratories, as well as research and technology organizations (RTOs). Associate Members represent industry actors, including multinational enterprises, SMEs and private sector organizations.
