Dr. Luo Benjin hosts a Ph.D. from the University of Stuttgart and a career spanning academia, industry, and global research leadership. He contributed to research and education at the University of Stuttgart (1996–2001). In 2001, he joined Bosch Germany, where he served as a Senior Systems Engineer in Advanced R&D, specializing in automotive powertrains, automatic transmission design, and control systems, while also pioneering work in Industry 4.0 technologies. Over nearly two decades at Bosch, he advanced to Principal Expert, earning multiple patents and driving innovation at the intersection of research and industrial applications. Currently, Dr. Luo serves as Acting Secretary-General of the World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organizations (WAITRO) and Chief Expert of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI), fostering global collaboration in cutting-edge innovation.
