The WAITRO Informational Session for Asia and the Pacific 1/2025 is organized by TISTR (Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research) under the role of WAITRO’s Regional Focal Point (RFP), This virtual session aims to strengthen engagement and awareness among member organizations of WAITRO (World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organizations) across the region by sharing updates, exploring collaboration opportunities, and encouraging active participation in upcoming global WAITRO activities.
Key topics include updates from the WAITRO Secretariat and teams, information on programs and services for 2025–2026, promotion of the upcoming WAITRO Summit 2026, practical guidance and administrative matters for members, including event hosting opportunities, membership fee, contact person updates, and digital engagement through WAITRO platforms.
This session also serves as a platform to foster dialogue and viewpoints exchange between WAITRO offices and the regional members, enhancing regional presence, mutual support, and contribution to WAITRO’s mission.
