About the Event
Türkiye’s National Knowledge and Technology Transfer Week 2026 is Türkiye’s leading national event dedicated to knowledge exchange, technology transfer, commercialization, and innovation collaboration. Taking place on 22–23 October 2026 in Ankara, the event brings together approximately 300 participants from academia, industry, government, research organizations, technology transfer offices (TTOs), start-ups, investors, and international innovation networks. It follows the invitation-only WIPO–AUTM International Knowledge & Technology Transfer Leadership Summit (19–20 October), creating a unique opportunity to connect global technology transfer leaders with Türkiye’s innovation ecosystem.
Under the theme “Maximizing Impact for Societal Welfare”, the event explores how knowledge exchange and technology transfer can generate greater societal value beyond traditional economic outcomes. Discussions will focus on strengthening innovation ecosystems, fostering university-industry collaboration, supporting deep-tech commercialization, building regional innovation clusters, and scaling successful local initiatives to international impact.
The programme combines high-level policy discussions with practical networking and showcases. Participants can expect:
- Inspiring keynote speeches and expert panel discussions on innovation policy, knowledge valorisation, and technology transfer.
- An exhibition featuring international organizations, EU-funded projects, technology transfer offices, research organizations, industrial R&D centres, regional development agencies, and deep-tech start-ups.
- Presentations from industrial R&D centres highlighting successful university-industry collaboration projects.
- Excellent networking opportunities with leading innovation professionals, policymakers, researchers, investors, and technology transfer experts from Türkiye and around the world.
