Global Industrial Technology Innovation Conference 2026 & China-Australia Innovation Week
The National Innovation Center par Excellence (NICE), together with the World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organizations, and co-organized by the Federation of Chinese Scholars in Australia (FOCSA), will host the Global Industrial Technology Innovation Conference 2026 & China-Australia Innovation Week from 2–4 June 2026 in Shanghai and key industrial clusters across the Yangtze Delta region in China.
Held under the theme “Social, Collaborative, and Open Innovation for Sustainable Development”, the conference aims to strengthen industrial technology innovation, accelerate the translation of research into industry, and foster international collaboration among research institutions, enterprises, and innovation stakeholders worldwide.
The event is expected to bring together approximately 500 participants from leading universities, research institutes, companies, and international organizations. The conference will provide an international platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaborative innovation across a wide range of emerging technological fields.

The program will feature an opening ceremony, plenary sessions, and more than ten thematic parallel sessions, including the Second China-Australia Innovation Forum, Artificial Intelligence Frontier, and several sessions dedicated to sustainable technologies and AI-driven innovation.
In addition to the main conference program in Shanghai, participants will have the opportunity to engage in local innovation ecosystem events and networking activities across key cities in the Yangtze Delta region through the Local Engagement Series Events.
As a co-host of the conference, WAITRO continues its mission of strengthening international cooperation, supporting knowledge exchange, and promoting collaborative innovation for sustainable development on a global scale.
