In April 2025, WAITRO held a successful WAITRO Executive Board Meeting in Istanbul, Türkiye, generously hosted by ITU. The event brought together members of the Executive Board to discuss strategic priorities, strengthen partnerships, and start preparations for the WAITRO Summit 2026, which will also be hosted in Istanbul.
Set against the rich cultural and scientific backdrop of one of the world’s most vibrant cities, the meeting provided an inspiring environment for collaboration and forward-looking dialogue within the WAITRO network.
